Слуховая труба выполняет три физиологические функции: регулирование давления, защита среднего уха от патогенов и инородных материалов в носоглотке и очищение полости среднего уха. Существует множество причин дисфункции слуховой трубы. Это разнообразное различие включает инфекционные, аллергические,
механические (обструктивные), воздействие окружающей среды, генетические, рефлюксные и врожденные причины. В данной работе нами изучены имеющиеся данные об анатомическом и физиологическом строении слуховой трубы; выявить причины и связь между дисфункциями слухвой трубы, а также проведен ретроспективный анализ имеющихся данных о строении и функциях евстахиевой трубы; рассмотрены все возможные этиологические причины дисфункций.
